UMSL Optometry student Chooses Brinton Vision
for LASIK in St. Louis

Samantha, a dedicated student at the University of Missouri–St. Louis College of Optometry and a skilled medical technician at Brinton Vision, recently experienced a milestone in her professional journey. On November 14, 2025, she underwent SBK LASIK surgery—an advanced, bladeless laser vision correction procedure—performed as a special educational event for her fellow UMSL Optometry students. By sharing her firsthand surgical experience, Samantha offers classmates a unique opportunity to witness the patient perspective, deepen their understanding of refractive surgery, and connect classroom learning with real-world clinical practice.
