When PGA golfer Barb could no longer see the golf ball, she looked for the best LASIK surgeon St. Louis has to offer. She went to Brinton Vision to treat her vision, and she couldn’t be happier after her Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) procedure, also known as a Custom Lens Replacement (CLR).

Hi, I’m Barbara Blancher, PGA golf professional. I teach golf at wing Haven country club in O’Fallon, Missouri.

Hi, I’m Barbara blancher PGA golf professional. I teach golf at Wing Haven Country Club in O’Fallon, Missouri. And I had my Refractive Lens Exchange eye correction surgery in St. Louis at Brinton Vision. A member at Wing Haven Country Club fosted, posted on Facebook. So he posted on Facebook, are you looking for an eye doctor in St. Louis? And, uh, I actually was looking for an eye doctor.

Little did I know I was looking for an eye surgeon and when I came in for my visit and got my eyes checked and realized I was a candidate for RLE, I, uh, I went forward with it. And, uh, I’m just amazed at, uh, at how I can see now. And just so happy that I saw that Facebook post

Having my surgery done at Brinton Vision was awesome. The, uh, staff made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Brinton made me feel very comfortable. I came to him in December and I wanted my eyes fixed before golf season. So I felt pressured to have it done as soon as possible. So I, uh, chose to have it probably within a month after having my appointment and did it.

And I’m so glad I have it done. And in 2018, I’ll be able to see the golf ball. And then, oh my gosh, to be able to read the label in my clothes and know how to wash them, I was like so excited and, oh, and then reading a menu. Like I can read the menu without my readers, so happy.

Oh gosh. If you’re thinking about eye surgery, come see Dr. Brinton and his staff here, because even though I was scared, I was very scared to have my eyes done. I, the thought of having surgery on my eyes, that’s a, that’s a elective procedure. Why would I want to do that? And what if I said, what if I went blind to not going to go blind? But what if I did you won’t.

Now I can see amazing. I can, I can read, I can see distances. Thank you, Dr. Brinton for making this possible, to be able to see the brakes on the greens and to be able to see the ball fly. Hopefully I’ll be able to see it fly 300 yards at some point, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to be limited on that only because of my distance that I can carry it. Somebody else is at 300 yards, I’m going to be able to see it because of you.

So thank you very much. Um, you’re going to make my professional life much better because I will be able to continue to see the golf ball on the golf course, which I was starting to lose. So being able to, to read and see, and, and to be able to play golf and teach golf and be able to see the golf ball. And that’s, that’s part of what I do. So thank you very much.
