The Visian Implantable Collamer Lens, sometimes called an implantable contact lens, is used to treat myopia and astigmatism, and it’s a good option for people with thin corneas. During the simple, 15-minute procedure, the eye surgeon places a biocompatible lens in the eye to achieve vision correction.

The ICL is placed behind the iris to correct imperfections that cause vision problems. There’s no need to remove tissue and the natural lens remains intact. ICLs can deliver crisp and sharp vision, helping our patients break free of glasses or contact lenses.
