I recycled my glasses, and I was actually able to return my unopened boxes of contacts. And I have never looked back.
Hi, I’m Becky from Lake St. Louis, Missouri. I’m at Brinton Vision, and I had ICL surgery.
My vision was absolutely terrible, um, before I had any surgery at Brinton Vision. I could not tell which child was at my bedside when they woke up in the night. I could not see anywhere to find my glasses. I had to feel for them in the morning. So contacts were okay, but they were starting to bother me. I started to have some dry eye and irritation with them, and I did not want to have my life in glasses.
Um, your eyes are something that I think you need to take very seriously. I was very wary of places that offer discount for procedures for your eyes. So I did research, and I saw that Dr. Brinton was in the top 1% of eye surgeons in the country and decided to come and give them, give him a visit.
My vision is life changing. Um, I wake up in the morning. I can see everything right away. We’ve gone on vacations. I’ve noticed new things and outside and around me that I’d never noticed before. Colors are clearer. And it has just been unbelievable. Just knowing when I wake up, I can see immediately, um. I’m safe in case of emergency. I can take care of my kids in the middle of the night, and then I can just feel like I’m a better mom. Um, hobbies are much more enjoyable with my new vision.
I work with computers all day long now, um, and it has just been so much easier with my vision. I feel less of a strain than I did when I was wearing contacts or glasses. Um, I don’t worry about having eye irritation if I’m meeting with important student conversation, um, in the classroom. When I taught it was so much easier to even read the board or see my students’ faces to answer their questions. I cannot believe the difference in the clarity of my vision from even wearing contacts to my eyesight now, with ICL.
Please don’t waste time. I was hesitant. Um, I have wanted LASIK since before I knew I could get it. I thought that LASIK was the right answer. I’m so glad that I came to Dr. Brinton, and he told me about ICL. I did not have dry eyes issues. My vision is so much better. Don’t waste time. Be able to see immediately. You will love your life without glasses or contacts.
