My name is Angela Barnett and I am from Naylor, Missouri. I got the ICL procedure. I have wore contacts for 36 years and glasses for four years before that.
So since before I was a teenager, I’ve had to either have contexts or glasses. And now I it’s nothing. I walked in and with my contacts or my glasses, not in my eyes, I could not even see the chart. And then we will know if you want to do it and we’ll be ready for it.
So, I mean that day I went home three hour drive and started looking on the internet. And I, like I said, I did my homework. I found Dr. Brinton. And it’s, you can’t beat the way that they treat you. I just can’t say enough about what all he has done for me and how this has really, really changed my life.
But on my second eye procedure, they play music and you’re awake. You’re talking to the doctor, the doctor’s talking to you. He was serenading me. And I told him, I said, Hey, this is pretty good. And serenaded as I get my eyes fixing. And he’s comfortable with you as much as you’re comfortable with him, it’s, it’s undescribable. I’ve never had a doctor that is nice and friendly as what he is. And you know, you know, he’s comfortable with you. If he’s singing, as he’s doing your surgery, it’s just been a blast.
I’ve got an 18 year old and a 14 year old daughter and daughter Sam, whenever they was younger because I wear contacts. Whenever we would go to the water park or go to go swimming, I would make them wear bright neon swimsuits so that I could find them because if I was going to have fun and go swimming with them, I couldn’t wear my contacts and I couldn’t wear my glasses. So that was the only way I could keep up with my kids as to have them in bright neon swimsuits.
And now I can go swim in and I don’t have to worry about it. I can see my kids. I can, I don’t have to worry about losing them or them almost drowning. And me not being able to see it. It is just so different.
I love the day after the procedure and drove 24 hours to the grand canyon. It was gorgeous. It’s like I said, just, this is so life changing this procedure, just do your homework.
